From grandson Daniel (added by David)

My fondest memories of her are all from visits we took over there when we were kids, which were always an adventure. Absolutely loved visiting them in Bildeston, and fondly recall capturing toads in their garden on one visit. And Vanuatu! I was quite young when we visited there but remember the beach and the ferry ride across gorgeously clear waters.

The sporadic correspondence we had over the years since was always lovely. Her letters, which I've kept, are honest and heartfelt. I know she suffered quite a bit from the senseless losses in her life, from mother Jane to Grandpa's decline and passing, but she lived a full life of love and adventure and good spirits regardless. I've adored seeing photos of her with Connie - she always looked so happy and joyous to have family around, and I'm glad so many of the extended family from here managed to make the trek over to see her over the years. I hope some might be able to make it over for a service later in the year.
